Oh Merciful God,
You inspired in the Church
the pastoral task of your servant,
Priest José María Arizmendiarrieta Madariaga.

We thank you for your love, expressed
through your servant’s dedication to
the Christian community and to society,
especially in the world of work.

We ask you for the example of this priest’s
commitment to become more widely known, and
acknowledged by the Church with the honour of the
saints, as encouragement for Christians.

Grant me, through your intercession, the
favour I ask of you, if it will be to
your glory and for the good of your people.
